The receipt on the left is from 12/30/2020. That is when the President was Donald Trump.
This was the price regular gas in the Wawa in Leonardo, NJ. The price was $2.399 per gallon. As you can see on March 18, 2021, Joe Biden now President the price is $2.99 per gallon and rising. That is a difference of $.60 per gallon in less than 3 months. I guess when you close down pipelines that is the result.
Isn’t it a shame that the Biden administration doesn’t realize that? I have no problem with transitioning to an economy run on green fuels. I do have a problem with how they want to get there.
How China Does It
I am not a fan of China, but perhaps we should take a page from their play book. China has had a history of putting plans of 50 years or more to get to where they want to be. They are currently in a plan to become the World’s largest superpower. They are well on their way and may already be there. That’s another issue. Let’s stick to gas prices.
Solyndra
Does anybody remember Solyndra? They received $535 million dollars in Government backed loans for tubular solar panels. In September of 2011 Solyndra filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy and ceased all operations. It was Obama’s green energy policy driven by politics.
The question is why we are doing the same thing again. I am sure you have heard of the saying “If you continue to do what you have always done you will continue to get what you always got.
You Will Feel The Impact
In an effort to initiate the “New Green Deal” they are going to make many Americans suffer. We haven’t had high inflation for a long period of time. I believe that will change under the Biden/Harris administration (that is what they want to call it now). The rise in the price of gasoline will impact all aspects of our economy. From civilians, to truck drivers, to farmers.
Petroleum Based Products
There are an estimated 6000 products that are made from petroleum.
Rises in gasoline prices will affect everything from clothing to heating oil to jet fuel and on and on.
So, get ready for higher prices and inflation.
