If you are a true Jets fan you know that they have a propensity to be able to do what they aren’t supposed to do. Unfortunately one of those things is to lose games they should win. They have lost to 4 winless teams in their past. Will that happen again.
In my opinion the Jets are vulnerable in the run game. As bad as the Browns are they are rank 8th in the rushing game. That is a weakness the Jets have. The Browns average 120.6 yards a game. Isaiah Crowel averages 5.2 yards a carry and broke one for 85 yards. The Browns quarterback is back this week, so even though they are ranked 24th in the league, with 228 yards a game that should improve this week.
So to me their are several keys to the game. On defense stopping the run is critical. The defense has to hold hold the Browns to under 90 yards . They can’t do what they have done so many times this season. Give up a long completion to the Browns. Derrell Revis has not had an interception through the first 7 games.
Needless to say that Fitzpatrick has to have a good game. Forte needs to rush for over 100 yards. Brandon Marshall who really has not performed well so far this season needs to have at least 125 yards in receptions.
Even though the Jets are laden with key injuries, one it is that Nick Mangold will not play, they should win this one
