Things are starting to get real exciting!
Well week number 12 is now history and so are the 7 I got right. Not great but better than the week before with 5. What will happen in week number 13 is anybody’s guess with regards to the spreads. It certainly was interesting in the world of college football. John Harbaugh returned to college coaching in 2015 as head coach for Michigan. In his sixth year he just won the Big Ten championship and appears confident going into the playoffs. They handily beat Iowa to win the first championship since 2004. Alabama came roaring back to soundly defeat Georgia and take claim of the number 1 seed again. The college playoffs look to be interesting.
Will it be any different in the NFL. Teams that should be winning are losing to teams that they should be defeating easily. Will that change this week. I hope so. There are 3 games I am really interested in this week. The first is the Jets vs. the Eagles.
Will the Jets get the job done?
Can the Jets do what the Giants did the week before. In my opinion it is going to be difficult for them to do that. Three things need to happen for the Jets to pull it off. First of all they can’t get too far behind in the first half. The Jets have been a terrible first half team but can’t afford to do that this week. Zach Wilson has to have a good game, especially with his decision making. He can’t make mistakes like flipping the ball forward and hitting his player in the back. Keep an eye out for the Zach Wilson Elijah Moore connection. That will be key for the offense today. The defense has to continue to play well. That is the strong suit of the Jets team. So goes the defense so goes the game. The Jets are currently 0-11 against the Eagles. I am picking them to make it 1-11 today.
Kansas City and Denver should be a good one.
The Kansas City Denver game should be really interesting. Kansas is 7-4, while the Broncos are 6-5. This game could well decide the AFC West division. I think that Kansas City will beat the Denver Broncos but I don’t think they will cover the 9.5 points they are giving up. This Kansas City team just doesn’t seem to be as good as last years team. They will go a long way if they win today. Meanwhile the Broncos will be looking to pull themselves out of a 3 way tie in that division. If they win today they will be in a 2 way tie but that will be for first in the division. I am picking Denver getting 9.5 points

Well take a look at New England now. They once again sit at the top of the AFC East at 8-4. They have been playing extremely well of late. I am sure Belichick will want to remain there. Buffalo has not shown the dominance it displayed last season. They appear to be weaker on both sides of the ball. Max Jones is turning out to be a great pick after a slow start. I am looking forward to Monday night football this week. It will be interesting. I am going with New England in this game.
