Isn’t It Great to have Football Back Again!
I always find it difficult making picks the first week of the season. Since they have gone to only 3 preseason games it got just a little harder. There always seem to be a a lot of surprises in week 1 of the season.
I for one am wondering how the Kansas City Chief’s will do this season. If you listen to Bart Scott, former Raven and Jet, he doesn’t think the Chief’s will make the playoffs. The Chief’s always relied on Patrick Mahomes to win games for them. That was when he had Tyreek Hill to throw to. Don’t get me wrong. I am a fan of Patrick Mahomes and believe he is in the top 5 quarterbacks in the league. But their defense has proven to be less than overwhelming the past few years. The question is will Patrick Mahomes continue to be able to save the day for the Chief’s?

Do you believe in Barstanomus (Bart Scott’s radio show character)
If you follow the Bart and Hahn radio show on ESPN you would know that Baert Scott is excellent when it comes to his predictions. Another team he is predicting not to make the playoffs is the New England Patriots. We will have a good idea today how that prediction might go after the Miami New England game. I think that Bill Belichick is a hard guy to bet against. As a Jet fan I hope he is right.

Shown below are my football picks for week 1!
I am picking the Jets getting 6.5. In my opinion their defense is much improved. I think that the Jet defense will surprise a lot of people this season. Sauce Gardner appears to be everything the Jets hoped he would be. Obviously some other players have to step up but he can be a game changer.
I keep a tally of how I do with my picks. I hope this year is better than last year.
