Same Old Jets

So we are in the second year of the new head coach and GM for the jets. After just missing the playoffs in Todd Bowles first season with a record of 10 and 6,  Jet fans were optimistic before the season started. The loss to the Bengals in the first game of the season was only the beginning of the disappointment jet fans were about to endure. The much heralded defense at the start of the season has proved to be inept. The Jets had 7 sacks in the first game and only five since them. Any team with seven sacks in a game should be the winner. The problem of course is a terrible secondary.

Todd Bowles after staying early in the week that Ryan Fitzpatrick would be the starter changed his mind and Geno Smith, with an 11-18 record, who notoriously fumbles and throws interceptions is now the starter. In their first 6 games the Jets faced 5 teams that were in the playoffs last year and lost to everyone of them. The only team they beat is the Buffalo Bills. Do you have any doubt what the outcome will be in the second game? I certainly don’t. I don’t think that Tod Bowles made the decision to change quarterbacks. Well who did then. The worst owner in the league, Woody Johnson. Need I say anything else.

The Jets will not win today. They can not, cover deep and Joe Flaco has one of the strongest arms in the league. Ravens 20 Jets 13.
