Is it same old Jets?
Is it just me or are there others out there that share my opinion?
The Jets draft what they expect to be their franchise quarterback (again) and they still haven’t come to terms with him. Why can’t they just forget all the trivia and minor details and sign the guy? Well then of course there would be no reason for the high priced agents and attorney’s. This type of thing makes a long, long time Jet fan like me hoping they don’t regress and go back to the old losing Jet ways.
What would Beningno be saying?
I am confident if Joe Beningno, retired WFAN talk show host, would be all over this. I kind of miss his banter. He was a true blue Jet fan, but never let that cloud his judgment. He was a harsh critic of the Jet management for a long time. I am surprised he was able to be as critical of the Jet ownership, the Johnson family, as he was.
The other quarterback not yet signed.
So in fairness their is one other quarterback not signed yet. Not that it makes it any better! Trey Lance drafted by San Franciso is still not signed either.
Oh by the way. Zach Wilson the Jets number 1 pick is joined by his teammate Alijah Vera-Tucker. He is the Jets second first round pick , an interior lineman from USC. The question is will they be signed by the start of training camp? For the first time in NFL history there is a cohesive start to training camp. On July 27th 29 of the 32 teams will be starting camp, YEAH!!
