This is a paradox that has existed for a very long time. If the Democrats do it, it is good for democracy. If the Republicans do the exact same thing it is a detriment to society. It is simply amazing that the Democrats no longer stand with the American people. The constitution, which is of the people, by the people and for the people, in my opinion, doesn’t apply to any politician in the Democratic party today.
Don’t misunderstand what I am saying. There are individuals that are speaking out against some of what the Democratic party is promoting. I don’t know if you watch “The Five”, but if you do Harold Ford Jr. is one such Democrat. If there were more people like him in the Democratic party the Republicans would be in for a fight. On most issues I am opposed to his beliefs, but his delivery of his beliefs is professional, knowledgable and dignified. He is humble and sophisticated, with a calm approach to any argument he makes. Quite contrary to most Democrats these days.

They need more like Harold Ford Jr.
Harold Ford Jr. is quite the opposite of the people in his party like, Senator Corey Booker, or Jazmine Crocket or Beto O’rourke. Even Gavin Newsom is getting into the act. I guess they think that all the yelling and screaming they do is enjoyed by their constituents. This is one Republican that hopes they keep on yelling.

I am very confused by their logic. I do not understand how they can think that being on the wrong side of every 80/20 issue is going to help them recapture the congress in the 2026 midterms. Actually I don’t care, I just hope they keep supporting the minority opinion in the country. It will be great for the Republicans in the 2026 midterms.
